Hey, my name is Carter

I wasn't the kid who grew up constantly drawing, designing, or building. For a long time, creativity felt like a world I was observing from the outside—but I always had a deep desire to learn how to create. After a life-changing conversation with a friend and invaluable guidance from a mentor, I finally bought my first camera in July 2024. I’ve been hooked ever since. Every day since then has been about pushing the boundaries of my gear, learning something new, and falling deeper in love with visual storytelling.

That curiosity quickly grew into a sharp instinct for capturing motion. Photography, to me, is all about presence and anticipation—knowing exactly when to hold still and when to capture the energy of a fleeting moment. Whether I’m freezing a split-second play on the field or capturing the raw emotion of a couple’s first look, my goal is always to bring intensity, heart, and genuine feeling into every frame.

Currently, I’m balancing my creative work with my studies at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where I’m pursuing degrees in Communication Sciences & Disorders and Spanish. Freelancing has become my ultimate creative outlet, giving me a voice I didn't know I had. More than just executing my own vision, I love the collaborative process of helping clients bring their stories to life.

When I’m not in class, you can find me behind the lens as a photographer and videographer for WCU Athletics, second-shooting weddings on weekends, or managing social media content for a local auto shop here in West Chester. I'm constantly working to elevate my craft, with the ultimate goal of leading weddings as a primary photographer and creating content for a professional sports organization.
